Designing and Integrating Renewable & Decarbonisation Technologies

Aragon has entered the Renewable market
Aragon’s vision has since the establishment of the company been to offer environmentally sound systems and solution to the global energy industry. It was therefore a natural step to enter the Renewable and Decarbonisation market.
By leveraging on our broad expertise within natural gas, cryogenics, system design and energy optimisation, we are offering our services for designing and implementation of solutions for production, logistics and use of Blue Hydrogen, Liquid Organic Hydrogen (LOH), Ammonia, Carbon Capture, CO2 injection, Energy storage and other related processes.
Do not hesitate to contact us for the latest information on our current references and solutions.
Hydrogen and Ammonia
Aragon entered the Renewable market in 2018 by being awarded the first hydrogen project related to storage and transport.
Based on our substantial experience within storage, loading and offloading of liquified natural gas (LNG) and strong process engineering capabilities, we supported our client in developing best suitable solution for logistics handling and transport of hydrogen.
Aragon is also supporting development projects within production, storage and other handling of Blue Hydrogen and Ammonia including integrated carbon capture.

Low Carbon Energy Production
Having its headquarter in Bergen, Norway, Aragon is located in close proximity to several ground-breaking project development plans within CO2 capture and storage.
E.g. in 2020 Aragon took an important role in the Feasibility Study Project, Stella Maris CCS – Carbon Capture and Storage initiated by Altera Infrastructure, where Aragon scope involved developing the topside concept for a CO2-treatment and injection system on a FSIU (Floating Storage and Injection Unit).
The project is considered to be the next step of the Norwegian Government-sponsored ‘Longship’-project for carbon capture and storage in Norway, and have gained significant interest from several European players.
Aragon is also in cooperation on carbon capture technology development and are investigating alternative Low carbon energy productions solution such as e.g. gas to wire with carbon capture using oxygen as fuel and Liquid Nitrogen Air for Energy Storage.
