Aragon is pleased to announce that it has been awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCm) contract by H2 Marine and Nord Trondelag Energi (NTE) for a hydrogen production plant in Rørvik, Norway, as part of Pilot-E project UBÅT.

The plant will also include hydrogen storage and energy-efficient bunkering solution. The primary objective of the project is to provide compressed green hydrogen as a fuel for a hydrogen-powered aquaculture workboat. The workboat will have sufficient hydrogen storage capacity on board to operate for a week without need for refilling.

The plant is expected to be operational by Q3 2023 and represents a significant step towards sustainable energy solutions.
